Tiniskhidi Cross

I don't have a lot to say today. Life is good, things are going great. I am loving it here and am making some great friends. We did our first big project with the kids in our school and it turned out good. It was nice to be doing something more then going to classes everyday. We had a little time off yesterday and that was nice to. I went on a hike with a friend last night. Here are some of the photos from it. Also we had a big hail storm today. That is the size of the hail here in Georgia. 

Borjomi

Borjomi is a resort town in south-central Georgia. Last Sunday I took a train with some friends to check it out. I love trains, they makes me feel like I'm Harry Potter and not a nerdy 25 year old talking about Harry Potter. The train ride was amazing. The country side of Georgia is beautiful. The ride was about 2 hours from Gori and only cost 1 lari. That's a deal if you don't know your USD to Lari like we do. It was kind of a rainy day, but the clouds just made the mountains look more amazing. We found this little restaurant when we got there and then walked around for a bit. The National Park is so cool and they even have cable car. If you know me, you know I love a good cable car. This one did not let me down. It was like we were flying over so much green. We went for a little hike and then walked through a park. Borjomi is know for its mineral spring water, it doesn't taste good but it's like magic or something. It was a great day. Gori

Here are some photos from a few of our trips into Gori. It is a nice little city and the birth place of Joseph Stalin. There is a river that runs through next to the bazaar. I live close enough to walk in to town when we have half days of school. Today we walked to a church in town. 

 Gori is the regional capital of the Shida Kartli district.

 This is the house that Joseph Stalin lived in and below is the stamp you get when you go to his museum here in Gori.

 There is a cafe in Gori called the Cake House. This cake was amazing.
